One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Le Plus Vite could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Örjan Kihlström wanted a little to much in the start and Lonley Number galoped for 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Golden Wings, Corinne Simb, Guglielmo Tell, Le Plus Vite, Lord Piccadilly, Balanced Emotion, Blue Max, Terugzending. A bird flew just in front of Bueno Como Está who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Golden Wings clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Le Plus Vite saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Corinne Simb gallopped for 40 m.



Le Plus Vite kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Bueno Como Está was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.




Golden Wings won the race after a spectacular finish.
