One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Golden Vanity found a gap and took the lead. Odile De Sassy followed before Ohio Buckeye.

This is the positions after 500m. Ohio Buckeye, Magical Freak, Nanny Fine, Odile De Sassy, Golden Vanity, Manolo, Joyful Shine, Disqualify. Vojsko Voják was disturbed and galoped 30 m. A bird flew just in front of Believe In Me who started to galop and lost 50 m.

Nanny Fine sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Vojsko Voják galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Nanny Fine was still in the lead after 1500m. Manolo galloped for 40 m. Vojsko Voják started to gallop after 1500m and Juha Länsimäki had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Nanny Fine were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Vojsko Voják galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.

Golden Vanity sprinted over the finishline before Nanny Fine and Goofy Breeze.
