The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Melonball Cherry tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Hottest Subject that came steaming ahead. Manuela Larockma was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Only You, Sleeping Summer, Silent Rival, Hell Broke Luce, Melonball Cherry, Like A Breeze, Hottest Subject, Commodore Cockney.




Commodore Cockney sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Commodore Cockney followed by Melonball Cherry and Desolate Ocean. Lane two Hell Broke Luce followed by Hottest Subject and Only You.



Commodore Cockney kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Flemming Jensen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Commodore Cockney started to galopp and lost 20 m. Hell Broke Luce galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.




Desolate Ocean won the race after a spectacular finish.
