The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Hoting today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Klasse sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Hurtigrutten was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Victor Karlsson wanted a little to much in the start and Klasse galoped for 30 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Rugged Movement, Das Grund, Flying Striker, Release Party, Mindbender, Cheval Noir, Klasse, Hurtigrutten.




Rugged Movement was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Das Grund galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Flying Striker looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Flying Striker kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Flying Striker galoped for 50 m. Rugged Movement litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Ulf Eriksson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Sleepy Winter started to galopp and lost 50 m.




Cheval Noir won the race after a spectacular finish.
