Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Eskilstuna track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Luna Piena took the lead after a very quick start. Carl-Erik Lindblom wanted a little to much in the start and Contact galoped for 30 m. When the startcar left the field Sunbeam started to galop and lost 20 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Sunbeam took the lead rather easily.

Sunbeam never caught up with Tarzan Boy who won. Contact came third.
