The weather had been good all week and Visby was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Uranie De Bonne sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Veuve Clicquot started to galop and lost 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Submission, Donatello, Make It Special, Force Of Speed, Veuve Clicquot, Gordon Blaze, Uranie De Bonne, Lucky Tribute.

Lucky Tribute sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Gordon Blaze looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Nightmist started to gallop after 1500m and Elin Gustavsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Submission gallopped for 40 m. Lonley Heart started to gallop after 1500m and Anders Funck had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Gordon Blaze kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Manolo speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

driver couldn't keep Manolo to trotting so they were disqualified.

Gordon Blaze won the race after a spectacular finish.
