One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





The Noble Horse could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Shawnee Shay looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that The Noble Horse couldn't come out from behind the leader, Get Going.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Get Going followed by Shawnee Shay and Zip Code. Lane two The Noble Horse followed by Heavenly Grove and Trouble Boy.



Get Going kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






The Noble Horse never caught up with Get Going who won. Shawnee Shay came third.
