The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Visby today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Flickering Ruby tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Gemaakte Verbinding that came steaming ahead.

This is the positions after 500m. Starstruck Wind, Eighteenosix G.V., Dr Sheldon Cooper, Hermes Boy, Ruža, Gemaakte Verbinding, Flickering Ruby, Disqualify.

Hermes Boy took the lead after 1000m. Gemaakte Verbinding didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Flickering Ruby galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Gemaakte Verbinding accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Eighteenosix G.V. started to gallop after 1500m and Micael Stjernström had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Giresse started to gallop after 1500m and Claes Sjöström had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Insomnia gallopped for 50 m.

Crossing Feeling put some pressure on the leader and could take over.

Crossing Feeling sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Flickering Ruby won the race after a spectacular finish.
