The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Kajaani this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mygodwhata Face could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Flea Kiedis saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Le Piratage took the lead rather easily.




Steel Sound looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Mygodwhata Face started to gallop after 1500m and Pekka Korpi had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Le Piratage was first on the homestretch followed by Steel Sound and Delightful Boomer.

Esa Holopainen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Delightful Boomer started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Winner of todays race was Le Piratage. Steel Sound came in second. Flea Kiedis became third.
