The sun was shining on Riihimäki today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Nick Nack. Basketcase ended up behind the leader. Tango Quick got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Tango Quick started to galop and lost 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Sparkling, Evolution, Je Suis, Delightful Samba, Tango Quick, Basketcase, Nick Nack, Song Contest.




The leader got disturbed by something and Je Suis took the lead rather easily.




Tango Quick looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Tango Quick were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Basketcase sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
