One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Quick Printer was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Goofy Moonlight started to galop and lost 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Beautiful Sun, Better Give Up, Dead Soldiers Walts, Sad Arraow, Charlene, Quick Printer, Knock On Wood, Goofy Moonlight. Inkas Shawnee showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Sad Arraow sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Knock On Wood galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Charlene accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Goofy Moonlight galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Quick Printer took the lead.

With only a little left of the race Beautiful Sun galoped for 20 m. Quick Printer sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Charlene, 2 Dead Soldiers Walts, 3 Quick Printer.
