One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dead Man´s Hand was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




King Empire was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Punching Devil looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Vaporizer couldn't come out from behind the leader, King Empire.




Punching Devil was still in the lead after 1500m.



Lindys Crown was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Punching Devil were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






No-one could catch Punching Devil today who won before Dead Man´s Hand and Vaporizer.
