One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Relaxing Technology took the lead after a very quick start.

This is the positions after 500m. Akira, Boys Will Be Boys, Luma, Solid Missile, Relaxing Technology, Plaistow, Embryo, White Jack.

White Jack looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Embryo couldn't come out from behind the leader, Akira.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Akira today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Boys Will Be Boys gallopped for 20 m. Zip Coon galloped for 30 m.

Akira didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Boys Will Be Boys galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Boys Will Be Boys was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. White Jack speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Relaxing Technology won the race after a spectacular finish.
