Stretching Starlight tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Universe Power that came steaming ahead. Mezzanine was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. Gold Crystal Star galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.
