One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Burning Desire was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Roger Pettersson wanted a little to much in the start and Chevaleresque galoped for 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Cassel sprinted to the front.




Stifling Sun took the lead after 1000m. Cassel didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Cassel looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Cassel sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Cassel kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Stifling Sun won. Old Comet came in second. Cassel caught third place.
