The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Haapajärvi today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Mercuri Star was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

This is the positions after 500m. Hot Chipotle, The Almighty, Please Polly, Walk Away, Wandering Love, One Eyed Man, Mercuri Star, The Weakest Link.

The Weakest Link took the lead after 1000m. Walk Away didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Walk Away saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

With only a little left of the race Runs With Class galoped for 40 m. Walk Away sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Ozean Traum galop. Ozean Traum lost 30 m.

Wandering Love won. Mercuri Star came in second. One Eyed Man caught third place.
