Only a humble breeze blew over Åby this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Chilipepper Band tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Paolo Berry that came steaming ahead. Submission was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.

Paolo Berry took the lead after 1000m. Googoo Gaagaa didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Paolo Berry followed by Chilipepper Band and Girl Next Door. Lane two Googoo Gaagaa followed by Bold Princess and Submission.




Paolo Berry didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Paolo Berry kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Googoo Gaagaa won. Paolo Berry came in second. Chilipepper Band caught third place.
