It had been raining for several days at Skellefteå but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were An Observer. I Burn ended up behind the leader. Lou Reed got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




This is the positions after 500m. Lou Reed, Zlatan Pride, I Burn, An Observer, Lizana, Aeroplane Kiedis, Flam Tap, Born Today. A bird flew just in front of Across My Feelings who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Lou Reed was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Lou Reed today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Aeroplane Kiedis gallopped for 50 m.



Lou Reed looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Lou Reed kept the speed the whole finish and won before Zlatan Pride and I Burn.
