It had been raining for several days at Harstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Basketcase was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Cecile Crown saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Holy Madness who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Basketcase sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Basketcase followed by Fein Gutachten and Nida Bakaou. Lane two Force Énorme followed by Cecile Crown and Running News.



With only a little left of the race Fein Gutachten galoped for 20 m. Connaisseur was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Basketcase looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Basketcase kept the speed the whole finish and won before Force Énorme and Fein Gutachten.
