Screwdriver looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Etalon Rapide started to gallop after 1500m and Lars-Åke Svärdfeldt had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Give Me Strength put some pressure on the leader and could take over.

Give Me Strength looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Stars And Stripes never caught up with Give Me Strength who won. Texas came third.
