The weather had been good all week and Leangen was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dancing Forest found a gap and took the lead. Sergeant Bear followed before Old Ship.




Dancing Forest was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Old Ship was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Sergeant Bear looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Old Ship couldn't come out from behind the leader, Dancing Forest.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Dancing Forest today. It continued in the lead.



Dancing Forest looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Dancing Forest didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
