One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Nutmeg Svensson could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.
Happy saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
Flying Detroit took the lead after 1000m.
Secret Light didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.
Happy galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.
Flying Detroit was still in the lead after 1500m.
Flying Detroit were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.
Nutmeg Svensson galoped way to long and was disqualified.

Diamond sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
