One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Riverfront sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Champion Of Gold sprinted to the front.

Arch Carrier sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Camber Sands galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Arch Carrier followed by Golden Magician and Limerick Rake. Lane two Lauvins Mercenary followed by Riverfront and Mission Possible.

Saint Michel showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Lauvins Mercenary suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Arch Carrier galoped for 60m and was disqualified. Ask For Permission galopped for 20 m on the homestretch. Camber Sands galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.

Lauvins Mercenary didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
