One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Rough Ride found a gap and took the lead. The Lonely One followed before Trembling Closet.

Rough Ride was in fine shape and held the lead.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Rough Ride was still in the lead after 1500m.

Rough Ride kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. The Lonely One was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.

Rough Ride kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Mighty Deliver galop. Mighty Deliver lost 40 m.
