The weather had been good all week and Drammen was in good shape. The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day. Speedy King tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Gnist Diamant that came steaming ahead. This is the positions after 500m. Baby Be Mine, Pick Me Up, Super Motivation, Killer Instinct, Kap Verde, Speedy King, Gnist Diamant, . Super Motivation sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Killer Instinct accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Gnist Diamant galloped for 20 m. Super Motivation started to gallop after 1500m and Asbjørn Mehla had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Killer Instinct kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Kap Verde speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch. Killer Instinct sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy. Results
