One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tricky Moonlight found a gap and took the lead. Screaming Boulder followed before First Shift.




This is the positions after 500m. First Shift, Screaming Boulder, Tricky Moonlight, Overtaker By Sib, Babe Magnet, Clever Band, Jumping Folder, Fusion. A bird flew just in front of Clever Band who started to galop and lost 20 m. A bird flew just in front of Sowing Fall who started to galop and lost 50 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one First Shift followed by Overtaker By Sib and Tricky Moonlight. Lane two Screaming Boulder followed by Babe Magnet and Sowing Fall.



First Shift looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Fusion galop. Fusion lost 30 m.




Tricky Moonlight made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Overtaker By Sib.
