Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Skellefteå track was in top-condition. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Walking Forest tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Universe Phantom that came steaming ahead. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Criminal Rocket took the lead after 1000m. Universe Phantom didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Criminal Rocket took the lead after 1000m. No Way Jose didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Universe Phantom showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Lieutenant Rocker was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Perfect Sky galop. Perfect Sky lost 10 m. Winner of todays race was Criminal Rocket. No Way Jose came in second. Walking Forest became third. Results
