One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Speed For Gold found a gap and took the lead. Back Flip followed before Les Roi. Back Flip suddenly started to galop. Eirik Høitomt had to struggle to get Back Flip to tror again and succeded after 50 m.




Les Roi quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Lonely Wave took the lead rather easily.
