The weather had been good all week and Mariehamn was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Geist Über Liebe could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Mad Sugar sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Geist Über Liebe looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Waving Forest galloped for 10 m.



Rainbow Boa suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Geist Über Liebe won the race after a spectacular finish.
