Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Solvalla track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Suitable Finish tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Fleksnes that came steaming ahead. Jörgen Sjunnesson wanted a little to much in the start and Bold Garden galoped for 20 m.

Uiterlijk quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Flywheels took the lead rather easily.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Flywheels followed by Suitable Finish and Uiterlijk. Lane two Oyonnax followed by Fleksnes and Rocky Race.

Rocky Race was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Flywheels sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Suitable Finish sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
