One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Bon Verve was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. driver couldn't keep Juin Juillet to trotting so they were disqualified. Alhambra Royale suddenly started to galop. Anders Svanstedt had to struggle to get Alhambra Royale to tror again and succeded after 30 m. When the startcar left the field Funky Fist started to galop and lost 30 m.

Basket Case quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Basket Case followed by Funky Fist and Atmosphere Cruiser. Lane two Giant Ace followed by Bon Verve and Front Comet. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Herr Sien gallopped for 50 m.

Giant Ace suddenly took over the lead. Basket Case showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Juin Juillet showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Bon Verve was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Giant Ace kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Funky Fist sprinted over the finishline before Giant Ace and Front Comet.
