It had been raining for several days at Hoting but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Shooting Momentum tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Midsummer Magpie that came steaming ahead. Jan-Olof Johansson wanted a little to much in the start and Shooting Momentum galoped for 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Larger Than Life, Powerful Scope, Grasping Peach, Ticking Wish, Brighton Pier Cockney, Flying Champion, Walking Rock, Shooting Momentum.

Grasping Peach sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Flying Champion saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Flying Champion looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Ticking Wish won. Flying Champion came in second. Grasping Peach caught third place.
