The sun was shining on Umåker and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Adios Chocolate Cookie could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Force Du Face quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Force Du Face clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Force Du Face followed by Adios Chocolate Cookie and Wondering Lemonade. Lane two Dancing Starlight followed by Shine So Bright and Gorgeous Starlight.



Force Du Face kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Force Du Face. Shine So Bright came in second. Adios Chocolate Cookie became third.
