One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Duro Trabbocchetto tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Moving Moon that came steaming ahead.

This is the positions after 500m. Duro Trabbocchetto, Moving Moon, Sunnymay, Amaretto Milano, Without A Cause, Angelo Lacrima, Whispering Rocket, Northern Sunshine.

Amaretto Milano took the lead after 1000m. Moving Moon didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Amaretto Milano today. It continued in the lead. Moving Moon galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Amaretto Milano were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Duro Trabbocchetto never caught up with Amaretto Milano who won. Without A Cause came third.
