Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Eskilstuna track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Walking Runner found a gap and took the lead. Shiny Colours followed before Commander Chief. When the startcar left the field Walnut Grove Willie started to galop and lost 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Walnut Grove Willie, Angry Grey Rat, Caveman, Walking Runner, Comfortable Puma, Shiny Colours, Kebne Kaj, Commander Chief.

Comfortable Puma took the lead after 1000m. Walking Runner didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Comfortable Puma followed by Kebne Kaj and Caveman. Lane two Walking Runner followed by Shiny Colours and Commander Chief.

Comfortable Puma were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Walking Runner never caught up with Comfortable Puma who won. Kebne Kaj came third.
