It had been raining for several days at Rättvik but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Kronos Boy. Astoria Amour ended up behind the leader. Big Strategy got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Kronos Boy clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Astoria Amour accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Astoria Amour sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Astoria Amour looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Astoria Amour didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
