Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Gävle track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Toonsoort tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Diamond Flame that came steaming ahead. Sgt Pepper suddenly started to galop. Erik Lindegren had to struggle to get Sgt Pepper to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

Breaking It Up saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Breaking It Up was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Diamond Flame looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Frozen Map seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.

Frozen Map kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Diamond Flame never caught up with Frozen Map who won. Sgt Pepper came third.
