One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Stepping Lemonade could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Death Metal, Cauberg, Portable Piece, Dave The Barbarian, Jumping Missile, Stepping Lemonade, Danielius Bakaou, Message From God. Royal Miracle galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Death Metal was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Death Metal followed by Jumping Missile and Stepping Lemonade. Lane two Dave The Barbarian followed by Cauberg and Portable Piece.




Death Metal didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Dave The Barbarian speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Cauberg sprinted over the finishline before Stepping Lemonade and Dave The Barbarian.
