The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Avulla Halu tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Lido Rīga that came steaming ahead.

The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.

Indian Sneaker looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Lido Rīga couldn't come out from behind the leader, Avulla Halu.

Aria Af Tibro was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Fantastic Svensson gallopped for 50 m. Meadow Limonge started to gallop after 1500m and Bo Falsig had to struggle to get it back in trotting. My Mercurius galloped for 50 m.

Aria Af Tibro didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Aria Af Tibro kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Indian Sneaker didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
