One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Punching Wave found a gap and took the lead. Cold Winter followed before Choctaw Ridge. Chris Columbus was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m. When the startcar left the field Labyrinth Starlight started to galop and lost 20 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Chris Columbus sprinted to the front.

Desolate Thinker sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Oktoberfest Dream looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Wandering Darkness speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Oktoberfest Dream made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Labyrinth Starlight.
