The weather had been good all week and Bjerke was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fighting Comet was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Fighting Comet was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Pose Puerta saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.



Pose Puerta looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Fighting Comet made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Pose Puerta.
