The weather had been good all week and Momarken was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Strong Band was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Light Bomb, Generale Fortuna, Gentleman Knight, Sky Fiction, Weekend Warrior, Mirabelle, Strong Band, Wild Cowboy.




Strong Band looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Gentleman Knight couldn't come out from behind the leader, Light Bomb.




Light Bomb was still in the lead after 1500m.




Strong Band seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Light Bomb galoped for 20 m. Strong Band sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Gentleman Knight sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
