The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Sørlandet this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Strawberry Pirouette could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Seulement Curieux was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.

I´ll Show You saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Strawberry Pirouette sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Criminal My galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m. Ofeora galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Strawberry Pirouette followed by Cute Ruby and Seulement Curieux. Lane two Blind Date followed by I´ll Show You and Beetle Peaks. Strawberry Pirouette galloped for 30 m.

Strawberry Pirouette looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Blind Date never caught up with Strawberry Pirouette who won. Cute Ruby came third.
