One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Oktoberfest Dream took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Waldner sprinted to the front.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Oktoberfest Dream suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.




Waldner was still in the lead after 1500m.




Waldner kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Lairon galoped for 50 m. Waldner looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Jaspe Javelot never caught up with Waldner who won. Solid Arraow came third.
