One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Elegant Lady found a gap and took the lead. Brave Beard followed before Leech Master.

Leech Master quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Mellanby Erik looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Elegant Lady couldn't come out from behind the leader, Leech Master.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Leech Master followed by Mellanby Erik and Solid Comet. Lane two Elegant Lady followed by Happy Days and Brave Beard.

Wondering Top was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Leech Master were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Winner of todays race was Leech Master. Solid Comet came in second. Elegant Lady became third.
