It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Queen Tango tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Javert that came steaming ahead. Ahimsa Bandiagara showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.




Indochine quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Soul took the lead after 1000m. Rugged Rock didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Queen Tango accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Queen Tango kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Javert was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m.



Soul was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Queen Tango looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Queen Tango was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Googoo Giron galopped for 10 m on the homestretch.




Final standings. 1 Soul, 2 Javert, 3 Indochine.
