The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Kuopio today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Just No Good found a gap and took the lead. Here For Gold F followed before Vend-a-face.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Criminal First sprinted to the front. Norske Pige started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Sunshine Girl took the lead after 1000m. Just No Good didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sunshine Girl followed by Vend-a-face and Stänkrädda Stina. Lane two Just No Good followed by Here For Gold F and Living Proof.

Sunshine Girl didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Sunshine Girl looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Here For Gold F won the race after a spectacular finish.
