One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sleepy Madness found a gap and took the lead. Stopping Bomb followed before Seront Reconnaître.




Spartacus quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Seront Reconnaître sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Seront Reconnaître followed by Stopping Bomb and Stepping Thought. Lane two Sleepy Madness followed by Etalon Rapide and Villemo.



Seront Reconnaître were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Sleepy Madness won the race after a spectacular finish.
