It had been raining for several days at Mariehamn but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Galaxyland Rocket. Stepping Thought ended up behind the leader. Bambino Giornaliere Del Dolce got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Essere Riconoscere followed by Bambino Giornaliere Del Dolce and Stepping Thought. Lane two Mine At Last followed by Galaxyland Rocket and Fist Fury.

Essere Riconoscere looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Winner of todays race was Essere Riconoscere. Mine At Last came in second. Galaxyland Rocket became third.
