One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sudden Star found a gap and took the lead. My Favourite Game followed before In Love.




Sudden Star was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. My Favourite Game started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Candy Cane was disturbed and galoped 20 m. Tempting Thinker was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Candy Cane looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Happy Sun couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sudden Star.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Sudden Star followed by Happy Sun and My Favourite Game. Lane two Candy Cane followed by Plus Rapide and In Love.



Sudden Star were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






No-one could catch Sudden Star today who won before Candy Cane and Happy Sun.
